The word Photeinos means “Bearer of Light.” This name captures our divine calling to bring light where there is darkness, healing where there is pain, and hope where despair has taken root.
We believe that every human being carries infinite value.
Our mission is to rebuild broken systems, renew minds, and restore communities through sustainable, love-driven action that changes lives and generations.

President & Executive Director
Dr. Tchino Emmanuel, PhD Founder and Executive Director, Photeinos Humanitarian Foundation
Dr. Tchino Emmanuel is a humanitarian leader, peacebuilder, author, and development strategist with advanced expertise in human rights, conflict transformation, and organizational leadership.
He is the Founder and Executive Director of Photeinos Humanitarian Foundation, a registered non-governmental organization working to empower vulnerable populations, restore dignity, and promote sustainable development across Cameroon and the Central African region.
His work focuses on gender-based violence prevention, psychosocial support, youth empowerment, humanitarian response, education and digital literacy, climate action, and community resilience.
In addition to his humanitarian leadership, Dr. Emmanuel serves as Associate Professor and President of Photeinos Christian University, where he provides theological and leadership training to students from across the globe. He is also the author of several books and training manuals on leadership, personal transformation, peacebuilding, and social impact.
Academically, Dr. Emmanuel holds four doctoral degrees: a PhD in Leadership and Organizational Development, a PhD in Human Rights and Peace, a PhD in Pneumatology (Theology), and a PhD in Ministerial Ethics and Church Administration.
He also earned a Master’s Degree in Public Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Common Law from the University of Dschang, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry and Leadership. His multidisciplinary formation allows him to integrate legal, institutional, ethical, theological, and social perspectives into humanitarian action and policy engagement.
Dr. Emmanuel serves as Executive Coordinator of Bridge Builders Cameroon (URI Affiliate), leading interfaith and civic peacebuilding initiatives and building national and international partnerships for social impact.
He has trained emerging leaders, coordinated multi-sectoral projects, authored capacity-building resources, and contributed to advocacy efforts advancing human dignity and social justice.
Recognized for his excellence, innovation, and commitment to transformative change, Dr. Emmanuel continues to provide visionary leadership that improves lives and strengthens communities.

What began as a passion to help the broken has grown into a movement of light spreading across communities.
From trauma healing sessions and youth empowerment seminars to environmental and educational outreach, every step reflects one truth light still wins.
